About me (she/her)

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor registered with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA), I am also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). I completed a degree in Social Science with Honors at Swinburne University and then a Master of Clinical Psychology at La Trobe University in 2010. Since then, I have worked with people who have experienced trauma and mental health challenges in a variety of settings.

My clients are primarily aged 14+, with Autism and or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, who are struggling with difficult life events, relationships, emotions, grief or forming a positive self-concept.

I approach my therapeutic work from a person-centred perspective rather than a pathology-centred perspective. I welcome working with LGBTQI+ and aim to create an accepting, safe and reflective space for my clients that is also disability-friendly.

I enjoy getting to know the people I work with and assisting in the process of establishing healthy psychological processes. This includes clear communication, acceptance and self-compassion. I aim to bring sensitivity to a person’s unique cultural experiences and their exposure to marginalisation and trauma. If and when a person is ready to work on processing trauma, this can be incorporated into our work, gently and at your own pace.

Aside from private practice, I have also worked at a specialist mental health service, an adult area mental health service, with asylum seekers and Forgotten Australians.

I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you and helping you to find a healthy pathway forward.
