About me (she/her)

  • Greensborough-VIC based.

  • Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor registered with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

  • I completed a degree in Social Science with Honors at Swinburne University and then a Master of Clinical Psychology at La Trobe University in 2010.

  • I have worked with people who have experienced trauma and mental health challenges in a variety of settings. Aside from private practice, I have also worked at a specialist mental health service, an adult area mental health service, with asylum seekers and Forgotten Australians.

  • I welcome working with people who identify as being LGBTQI+.

  • The people I work with are primarily aged 14+, with Autism and or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma-related diagnoses, and those who are struggling with difficult life events, relationships, emotions, grief or forming a positive self-concept.

  • I approach my therapeutic work from a person-centred perspective rather than a pathology-centred perspective.

  • I enjoy getting to know the people I work with and assisting in the process of establishing healthy psychological processes. This includes clear communication, acceptance and self-compassion.

  • I aim to bring sensitivity to a person’s unique cultural experiences and their exposure to marginalisation and trauma.

  • If and when the person I am working with is ready to work on processing trauma, this can be incorporated into our work, using Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
